Your range is changing: how do you keep pages and materials consistent?

A format changes. A new product arrives. A retailer needs an updated presentation. The work now touches several materials, versions and sometimes several people.

01

Distinguish consumer choice from a shop assortment

On your website, visitors need to understand product differences to choose. For a shop, the presentation also needs to explain each item’s place in the assortment. A sexual-wellness brand can start from the same documented facts and adapt the order of arguments, visuals and level of detail to these two decisions.

02

Prepare for the retailer’s decision

Prepare for the retailer’s decision: an overview of the range, the characteristics that distinguish each item and the professional terms set by the brand. Prices, quantities, availability and ordering terms need confirmation. An attractive presentation cannot replace missing information or guarantee an order.

03

Identify the source to use

Identify the right information first: which reference, change, source and version? If documents contradict each other, ask for confirmation of the specific fact. Other work can continue when it does not depend on that answer.

04

Locate the materials to update

Identify the affected materials: product page, range page, visual, sales document or recurring reply. The same change can affect each differently; a corrected dimension may also change a product argument or selection advice.

05

Consolidate approvals

Group the decisions needed. The person responsible should be able to see what changes, understand your recommendation and approve the right version without rebuilding the entire conversation history.

06

Check the version actually implemented

After applying the changes, check the actual destination and retain the updated files. Prepared copy, an approved version and a change visible on the website are distinct stages.

07

Choose a project or ongoing support

When this work recurs, ongoing responsibility and follow-up can help. Priorities, responsibilities and limits should stay clear. A defined, isolated need may be handled as a project.
